Bienvenidos a CAPTAC-DR

CAPTAC-DR es el centro de asistencia técnica regional del Fondo Monetario Internacional (FMI) para Centroamérica, Panamá y la República Dominicana. Somos un esfuerzo de colaboración entre sus siete países miembros (Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panamá y la República Dominicana), socios externos (Unión Europea, Canadá, México y Luxemburgo), y el FMI.

CAPTAC-DR es uno de los centros regionales creados por el FMI alrededor del mundo para ofrecer asistencia técnica, y fue inaugurado en 2009 en la Ciudad de Guatemala con el objetivo de asistir al fortalecimiento institucional de sus países miembros y a la integración económica-financiera de la región.

Actualmente CAPTAC-DR cubre siete áreas de acción: administración tributaria, administración aduanera, gestión financiera pública, supervisión financiera, banca central, estadísticas de cuentas nacionales y estadísticas de finanzas públicas.

Important Notes for Online Courses:

• All government officials are welcome to register. These courses are particularly relevant for officials in ministries of finance, economy, and planning and in central banks who advise on macroeconomic and financial policies.

• In general, successful completion of an online course will be viewed favorably when applying to face-to-face ICD courses at headquarters or regional centers.

• Basic Excel skills and access to a computer with a reliable Internet connection and a Google Chrome web browser are essential.

• For Online Learning (OL) courses, which are delivered through the edX platform, you will need an additional piece of information to register: you will be prompted for your edX.org username. If you do not already have a username, please go to https://courses.edx.org/register and sign up for a free account. Once you have created an account, you may complete the IMF Institute application. If you already have an edX account, your username can be found on the top right of the screen after logging in.
